Ready to hit the Tuscan coast to immerse yourself in a different wine experience? Tenuta Prima Pietra's vineyard is the highest along the Tuscan Coast, at 450 meters above sea level, in Riparbella - Pisa.
The estate unfurls across a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and consists of 200 hectares, 11 of which are under vine – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot – while the other land is covered in woods.
Guests may choose between the following wine experiences:
- Premium Tour: the experience begins with a vineyard visit where you will be able to understand how the terroir marks the charachter of our wines, making them unique. Following, a visit to the fermentation and barrel room. And finally, a tasting of 4 wines, including an old vintage of Prima Pietra and Permassimo - our Cabernet Franc, limited production label. The wines will be served with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, bread and our homemade EVO oil and honey.
- Prima Pietra Vertical: the perfect occasion for those that would love to deepen the wonderful world of Super Tuscans. It includes a vineyard and cellar tour and a tasting of five of our most remarkable wines, including old and rare vintages of Prima Pietra and as a gran finale Permassimo, our limited production wine. By visiting the cellar, you can learn how much attention to details is required during the winemaking process. Our wines, are sampled together with a fine selection of cold cuts, tuscan cheeses, fresh bread, homemade EVO oil and honey.
- Fly Over Tuscany: discover Tuscany from above with an exclusive panoramic flight, combining stunning views with top-tier wine and dining experiences. Your journey begins at Tenuta Prima Pietra with a guided vineyard tour and a tasting of exceptional wines like Prima Pietra and Permassimo, paired with local specialties. Next, enjoy a refined lunch at Saqua, where tradition meets contemporary cuisine. The experience concludes at Castiglion del Bosco with a prestigious Brunello Vertical tasting, featuring six remarkable Brunello di Montalcino vintages. A unique adventure by private flight, perfect for wine lovers seeking the essence of Tuscany.
Duration: transfer from Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco to Tenuta Prima Pietra takes approximately 2 hrs 10 minutes per way in good traffic conditions. The tours can take between one to one and a half hours per session.
