Where can Rosewood Hotels & Resorts gift cards be used?
Gift cards can be used at any participating properties managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts at the time of redemption to pay for charges including accommodations, dining, spa services and any incidental charges directly charged by the property. In some cases, certain services or facilities may be available only to registered guests of the hotel or resort. Should there be any doubt, we recommend advising the staff member at the time of booking that a gift card will be applied. Gift cards must be presented at time of check in and/or prior to purchases or services rendered.
Where can Rosewood Hotels & Resorts gift cards be delivered?
Gift cards can be delivered to recipients worldwide. However, please note that gift cards cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
Can I send gift cards in a single order to more than one address?
Yes. Currently orders placed for physical Gift Cards can be shipped to the same location and E-Gift Cards can be emailed to multiple email addresses in one transaction.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged when you click "Complete Purchase" during the checkout process.
When do gift cards expire?
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts gift cards do not expire.
Can a gift card be redeemed for cash?
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts gift cards are not redeemable for cash, nor can any remaining balance be refunded in cash.
What if my purchase exceeds the value of the gift card?
Charges that exceed the stored value of a card may be settled with cash or a major credit card accepted by the hotel/resort. If the card is redeemed for charges that are less than the value of the card, the balance will remain on the card.
What if my purchase is less than the value of my card, do I need to use it all at one time?
The Rosewood Hotels & Resorts gift card can carry a balance so any unused balance is stored for future use.
Can gift cards be ordered by telephone?
At this time, gift cards can only be ordered online or by visiting any participating Rosewood Hotels & Resorts property. How is an e-gift card different from a traditional gift card?
An e-gift card can be used in the same way as a traditional gift card. The only differences between a traditional gift card and an e-gift card are the delivery and presentation. A traditional Rosewood gift card is a physical gift card, while an e-Gift Card is sent to the recipient via email. The recipient can then print out a copy of the e-Gift Card email for redemption at a Rosewood property or show it to hotel staff on a personal handheld device.
How do I redeem an e-gift card?
To redeem an e-gift card, please provide the email confirmation including the e-gift card number and pin as a form of payment upon check-in or once services have been rendered. An e-gift card can be printed out for redemption or shown to hotel staff on a personal handheld device. When using an e-gift card for accommodations, we suggest advising the reservations associate at the time of booking that an e-gift card will be applied to the stay.
What if my card is lost or stolen?
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is not responsible for lost, destroyed or stolen cards. If a gift card has been registered for balance protection, please send an email to Rosewood@techsembly.com or call +44 800 0488077 (UK), +1 888 225 8452 or +1 203 583 8588 (US), or +852 2319 4897 (Hong Kong) and provide the email address, or gift card order number, that was used to register the gift card. The remaining balance on your gift card will be frozen and transferred to an e-gift card. The value stored on the replacement e-gift card will match the balance of your account at the time you reported your original card missing. In what denominations are gift cards sold?
Rosewood gift cards and e-gift cards can be purchased on our website ranging from 50 to 2000 for EURO, GBP, USD & CAD and 500 to 15000 for HKD.
In what denominations are gift cards redeemed?
When redeemed at hotels or resorts where the charges are not presented in US dollars, the current exchange rate published by Oanda will be used to calculate the card value in local currency.
How do I protect my gift card balance?
Traditional physical gift cards can be registered for balance protection. You will be asked to enter your email address, create a password and enter the 20 or 21-digit number on your card and 4-digit pin (if applicable).
