Chocolate Halzelnut

Every month, Executive Pastry Chef Sonara Sieng creates an exclusive cake using the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from across Cambodia. Available only at Butterfly Patisserie in Rosewood Phnom Penh, these cakes make the perfect treat for yourself or as a gift.

This month’s creation is a delightful Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, featuring a soft hazelnut sponge filled with mousse, covered in caramel sauce and dark chocolate chantilly, and enhanced with additional hazelnut paste.

Sonara Sieng

In 2017, Sonara joined the Rosewood family as Chef de Partie and has grown with the hotel ever since.

Over the years, he has sharpened his managerial skills, learned new techniques to infuse both Western and Khmer flavors into his pastries and has perfected the art of making millefeuille – the timeless treat of puff pastry sheets layered with decadent pastry cream – at the Patisserie.
