A NEW ERA for GROSVENOR SQUARE

First developed in the 18th century as private residences for high society Londoners, Grosvenor Square eventually became known as ‘Little America’ because of its deep ties to US diplomacy. Today, The Chancery Rosewood carries this legacy forward, reimagining its role as a global nexus of culture.

Marius Dufay’s desserts are not just sweet treats, but sensory journeys through form and flavour. One of the world’s leading pastry chefs, Dufay brings his visionary creations to Jacqueline, with an exclusive range of pastries served at the tearoom.

A storied history

Through renowned London-based art consultants Cramer & Bell, we’ve commissioned 22 artists to create bespoke pieces of artwork that are positioned throughout The Chancery Rosewood, with a dedicated art concierge on hand to contextualise each piece.

A gathering spot for tastemakers

As one of London’s key cultural destinations, The Chancery Rosewood is partnering with east London music collective to deliver an unrivalled programme of music, events and experiences to curate a community of tastemakers to inspire, engage and connect.

The eagle has landed

Named for its diplomatic past as the former US Embassy, The Chancery Rosewood’s grand design was dreamt up by modernist architect Eero Saarinen during his honeymoon. Its iconic golden eagle sculpture, crafted from B-52 bomber aluminium by Theodore Roszak, remains proudly in place, protected as part of the Grade II listed building.
