Claudia Weber, a native of Lower Bavaria and Pastry Chef at Rosewood Vienna, began her journey into the world of fine cuisine with a classical culinary education. After completing her training, she gained valuable experience in luxury hotels internationally, including in Austria. In September 2023, she followed the call of Director of Culinary, Matthias Mezera, to join Rosewood Vienna. The two had previously worked side by side for 2.5 years in Kitzbühel. Vienna has always fascinated her with its impressive diversity and unique lifestyle, which she saw as the ideal place for her. Claudia Weber and her team are especially proud to lead Vienna’s first Gugelhupf Bar, constantly developing new creations that feature high-quality regional products in their Gugelhupf offerings.
