Unleash your creativity by creating a Coconut Postcard – a unique Kona Village activity appealing to all artists both young and young at heart. Adorn the blank canvas of a coconut with your personalized design, then address the quintessential island memento to a loved one. Our team will stamp and send the tropical message through the US Postal Service, spreading the aloha spirit to those near and far.
Dive into an eco-friendly experience at our ponds, where we're tackling an invasive species: tilapia. Cast a line and help us remove these fish, knowing that every catch contributes to conservation efforts. Once caught, the tilapia are donated to Ke Kai Ola, a local nonprofit dedicated to rehabilitating injured Hawaiian Monk Seals.
Kona Village has historically been a place that encourages nature to flourish. Our friendly ducks are a beloved part of the village, and it is our kuleana (responsibility) to take care of them. We invite guests to join us in our commitment to nurturing the natural world. Your keiki are invited to lend a hand alongside our team, and discover more about our environment and their role in preserving it.

Although the central location for Rosewood Explorers is located just behind Moana Family Pool, our Keiki Club engages in activities throughout the resort footprint – using nature as a classroom. Our educated and trained team members will often lead young Explorers to safely enjoy one of Hawaii`s most attractive features – the enticing waters of the Pacific. Whether wading in Kahuwai Bay or bubbling alongside the water features of Moana Family Pool, Rosewood Explorers will add the perfect splash to your children’s holiday.
