Matthias Mezera
Matthias Mezera, born and raised in Vienna, brings an impressive career in international gastronomy. After completing his culinary training in Vienna and gaining experience through various positions in the hospitality industry, he returned to his hometown in August 2023 as Executive Chef at Rosewood Vienna. His passion lies in Austrian cuisine, French brasserie dishes, and Mediterranean specialties.
At the age of 13, Matthias decided to pursue a career in cooking, driven by his love for craftsmanship and the joy he derives from good food and quality beverages. He first honed his culinary expertise at a luxury hotel in Berlin and continued to build his skills in renowned establishments such as Schloss Fuschl. Matthias not only brings extensive experience but also a deep passion for the craft and art of cooking, which he expresses in every dish he creates.
