Hike to the Meadow with Historical Tour of Folger Stable

Saturdays 9:30 am–12:30 pm

Nestled in Wunderlich Park, The Meadow Trail traverses through a collection of evergreen forests, eucalyptus, and redwood trees. The trail transitions into a beautiful meadow of expansive grasslands with open views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Enjoy a private guided tour of the Folger Stable Historic Site which includes the Folger Estate, Carriage Room Museum and Stables.

The Ridgeview Trail in Edgewood Park

Saturdays & Sundays 2–4:30 pm

The serpentine grasslands of Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve are famous for their magnificent displays of wildflowers each Spring. The Ridgeview Trail weaves through dense and shady oak woodland with beautiful views of the serpentine grasslands and open vistas. Spring is the best to witness vivid splashes of yellow and gold flowers. The trail ends with a 0.1-mile climb to “Inspiration Heights,” with views of the San Francisco Bay and Mt. Diablo.
