In 1964, following years of site-sensitive planning, environmentalist Laurance Rockefeller unveiled an innovative, 50-room Virgin Gorda resort that embodied a visionary affinity between travel and nature. Upon joining the Rosewood family in 1994, the property underwent a full renovation aligned with the brand's dual commitment to ultra-luxury and the natural environment. In keeping with resort's long dedication to utmost privacy, the camera has documented visitors' presence only rarely—as when Queen Elizabeth II toured the resort. So inviting our guests and associates to be immortalized by world-renowned photographer Greg Williams this past summer was an exciting, historic moment.
