Sati Foundation

Rosewood Bangkok, through its Rosewood Empowers program, has partnered with SATI to provide underprivileged youth aged 18–25 with upskilling and training, aiming to secure them a brighter future. Upon program completion, they are offered opportunities to be hired as casual or temporary employees, or to secure a permanent position in the housekeeping, F&B, or culinary departments.

A non-profit organization, SATI is dedicated to enhancing healthcare and education for Thailand's at-risk and underserved children and youth. It employs prevention and treatment strategies through educational workshops and livelihood programs, including clean water initiatives and occupational training.

WON Project

Recognizing the importance of responsible waste management, Rosewood Bangkok has teamed up with the WON Project to implement a stretchable plastics (PE) recycling program in the hotel's heart-of-house area. This collaboration with WON, aimed at fostering a circular plastic economy and minimizing environmental waste leakage, focuses not only on enhancing waste separation techniques but also on elevating consumer awareness about recycling practices through a Facebook fan page named “WONtogether”.

For every 1 kilogram of stretchy plastics received, Rosewood Bangkok donates THB 5 to a well-established environmental foundation. In 2023, Rosewood Bangkok compiled and donated stretchy plastic, equivalent to planting 24.6 trees and reducing the greenhouse gases emitted by the hotel by 221.6%.

Partners in Provenance

Rosewood’s Partners in Provenance commitment is born out of respect for local farmers, indigenous agriculture, and a dedication to delivering the highest quality food. Rosewood Bangkok partners with local farms and purveyors that provide our guests with fresh produce throughout the year, emphasizing a seasonal and diverse menu featuring local fare.

Our chefs work closely with top-quality local farmers and producers who deliver the finest home-grown ingredients, including fresh farmstead goat cheese from Little Goat Farm, free-range pork from Sampran Farm, welfare-free-range chicken from Klongpai Farm, organic Black Angus Beef from Khunta Farm, organic pomelo from Tanat Kaen Chan Farm, and organic rice from Raitong Farm.
