Explore one of the three onsite cenotes located within Mayakoba, particularly El Burrodromo, where guests are treated to a firsthand look at the ancient cave’s community of bats, beautiful rock formations, and crystalline waters that link to all other cenotes on the Yucatan Peninsula. Kids who complete this guided tour receive a special cenote explorer badge to commemorate their experience.
"El Burrodromo," the cenote cave inside Mayakoba, is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. No reservations are required, and a person in charge of taking care of the area can explain the hundreds of underground rivers that exist in the Yucatan Peninsula. You can take your bike to get there or use a complimentary shuttle from the motor lobby. It is a short visit of 10 minutes.
*Note that swimming is not allowed there.
