CENTRO EDUCATIVO K´IIN BEH
School is in Session
Rosewood Mayakoba is proud to support Centro Educativo K’iin Beh, a school built in 2017 for the children of its employees and local youth, located 15 minutes from the luxury resort. Serving 250-plus students, the school offers bilingual, full-time education for children in elementary and middle school.
Voluntourism
Travelers—both individuals and groups—interested in contributing to the school through sustainable tourism in Mexico can do so via tax-deductible donations, providing school supplies such as pencils, paper, markers, and more, or through hands-on, on-site projects like reading or computer lessons.
The creation of the school is a reflection of Rosewood Mayakoba’s deep-rooted commitment to the well-being and success of its staff and surrounding community.
It Takes a Village
K’iin Beh, meaning "towards the sun" in Mayan, has been solely financed by friends and family of Rosewood Mayakoba. With an over USD500,000 investment and tremendous support from local friends and businesses who provided their work at cost, the school is able to provide an enriching educational environment to nurture the next generation.
To make a financial donation to the school, please use the link below for a secure payment method via credit card. 100% of your tax-deductible donation will go to Fundación K’iin Beh, a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States, to help sustain the curriculum and support the students with the supplies they need to continue to excel in their education. The transaction is powered by kindful.com and will appear on your statement as "kindfulpayments."
