On November 8 and 9, two talented bartenders from Stay Gold Flamingo, Amos and Mary, will take over Sora for two exclusive nights.

Stay Gold Flamingo, located in Singapore, is the brainchild of homegrown, next-gen bartending mavericks Jerrold Khoo and Bai JiaWei. The bar aims to inspire people to “stay gold” and be a flamingo in the fast-paced world we live in. With a place to embrace chaos, beat the blues, and spread the love, Stay Gold Flamingo was ranked #32 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2023.

Meet Amos and Mary as they bring a vibrant Stay Gold Flamingo experience to Sora with their four creative cocktails: Ice Cream Highball, Flamingo New Yorker, Sazerac, and My Little Pony.

G.O.D, Teens of Thailand and Asia Today

Niks and Attapon bring the signature cocktails and unique vibe from their three Bangkok bars—G.O.D Bar, Teens of Thailand, and Asia Today—to Sora this Saturday, August 24.

G.O.D Bar, “Genius On Drugs”, adds a hint of the sacrilegious to their cocktails, while Teens of Thailand specializes in gin, and Asia Today focuses on lesser-known ingredients to craft innovative drinks.

Sip on signature creations such as Rest In Peach, Rameni, Trinity: The Father, The Son and Larb KW All, the Thaitea Gin Tonic, and Tiger’s Ears.

The Hudson Rooms

The Hudson Rooms at Hanoi’s Capella is where the vibrant spirit of 1920s New York comes alive. Their vibrant cocktails take guests on a journey along four rail tracks departing from Grand Central Station: north to Canada; westwards to Chicago; down south to Miami, and all the way to sunny Los Angeles.

On June 28 and 29, Sean Halse and Nguyen Khánh will travel from Hanoi to Phnom Penh to take over Sora for two exclusive evenings.

Get ready for Friday night and join us at Sora!

On June 14, Sora hosts mixologists Ryuji and Kenji from the gin distillery and concept bar, MAWSIM.

“MAWSIM” means “season” in Arabic, and is also the origin of the word “monsoon”.

They will take over Sora for one exclusive night and serve four cocktails made with the finest local ingredients, including Mondulkiri Red Pepper and their premium Gin. The cocktails are: Kiwami-Gin Tonic; Battambang Orange Fizz; Tropical Green, and Smokey Negroni.

Bar Leone, a new bar in Hong Kong, focuses on 'cocktail popolari' or 'cocktails for the people'. This shift from owner Antinori’s previous high-end bar, Argo, aims to offer classic cocktails and approachability, emphasizing a memorable experience for guests by removing unnecessary complexity. It pays homage to traditional Roman bars that are central to his hometown's neighborhoods. Antinori has drawn inspiration for Bar Leone from his diverse experiences working in top hospitality establishments across the world.

Despite starting in law, Antinori discovered his passion for bartending in Australia and never looked back. Bar Leone signifies a return to basics, prioritizing hospitality and quality drinks over elaborate techniques and concepts. Experience the unique flavors that have made Bar Leone a standout in the cocktail world.

WORLD'S 50 BEST BARS #20

COA was opened in 2017 by Jay Khan as part of his mission to bring agave spirits to the forefront of Asia's cocktail scene.

Named after the machete-like tool for harvesting agave, COA (co-ah) is inspired by the drinking dens Jay frequented on his trips to Mexico. COA focuses on great hospitality, set in a cozy and friendly environment welcoming all walks of life, and provides a diverse beverage offering, featuring 100% agave tequila, traditional mezcal and cocktails inspired by the flavors of Mexico.

A 41-page spirit menu, dedicated to agave spirits, provides you a glimpse (or deep dive) into these rich, diverse but often misunderstood products.

Salmon Guru

WORLD'S 50 BEST BARS #16

“Salmon go against the stream,” owner Diego Cabrera likes to say, and Salmon Guru certainly did this year. With the feeling the team had pushed the previous concept (loud drinks, crazy garnishes, dragon-shaped vessels) as far as it could go, Cabrera decided to temporarily close his successful bar and reinvent it. After a two-month refurbishment, the new Salmon Guru was unveiled. Everything still feels like the ‘old’ bar, but more focused. The refreshed Salmon, with its eye-catching aquarium-like bar room, offers cocktails inspired by the trips the staff took while the bar was closed. Their presentation is more discreet than it used to be, but the flavors are characteristically big. And one thing that hasn’t changed is the service - a past winner of the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award, Salmon Guru will still make you feel like a fish in (heavily flavored) water.

Employees Only has been honored with Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s Spirited Awards for "Best American Bar Team", "World's Best Cocktail Bar" and "World's Best Drinks Selection". Additionally, it was ranked #4 on Drink International's "World's 50 Best Bars" in 2015. On October 27-28, Sora Indoor will host talented guest bartenders from Employees Only.
